Who regulates MLO licensing in Washington?
Washington mortgage loan originators are licensed through the NMLS and regulated by the Washington Department of Financial Institutions. Washington requires 22 hours of NMLS-approved education, which must include 4 hours of Washington law, then you pass the SAFE exam.
